TERMSX

Last updated: May 25, 2026

The short version

  • Use Terminal X for anything legal. We don't.
  • You own the outputs you generate. We don't claim any rights to them.
  • AI gets things wrong sometimes — verify before you act on it.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. All sales are final — no refunds, but you can cancel anytime.
  • Don't abuse the system, scrape the service, or build a competing product on our API.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Terminal X (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. What Terminal X does

Terminal X is a multi-AI command layer. You write prompts; Terminal X routes them across third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others), assembles the results, and returns them to you. Terminal X may also perform actions on connected third-party services on your behalf when you authorize it (Vercel deployments, GitHub commits, etc.).

Terminal X is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the Service running, but availability is not guaranteed (Section 10).

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Activity under your account is your responsibility.

You may only have one personal account. Don't share credentials. If you discover unauthorized use of your account, email support@terminalxapp.com immediately.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Free plan — every account starts with 50 free credits per month. No card required.

Paid plans — Starter, Pro, and Business plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe at the rates shown on the /billing page. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Settings — your plan stays active through the end of the period you've already paid for.

Credits — each plan includes a monthly credit allotment. Credits are deducted only for successful AI calls; failed calls cost nothing. Unused credits roll over up to your plan's rollover cap (Starter 500, Pro 1,500, Business 5,000). Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

Refunds — all sales are final. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; your current paid period stays active until it expires and you will not be charged again. See the full Refund Policy for details, including the EU statutory withdrawal right.

Price changes — we may change prices with 30 days' notice. Changes apply at your next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Terminal X to:

  • Generate or distribute illegal content (CSAM, content that violates IP rights, etc.).
  • Generate disinformation, deepfakes intended to deceive, or impersonation content without consent.
  • Spam, harass, threaten, or harm others.
  • Reverse engineer Terminal X, scrape the service systematically, or build a competing product on top of our API.
  • Attempt to bypass the credit system, rate limits, or any access control.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the terms of the underlying AI providers we route to.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

6. Your content

You own everything you input to Terminal X (your prompts) and everything Terminal X generates for you (the outputs). We do not claim ownership.

You grant us a limited license to process your prompts and outputs solely to provide the Service — running them through AI providers, storing them in your session history, etc. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

No training — we do not train AI models on your content, and we require our AI provider partners to honor the no-training settings on their APIs.

7. Our content

The Terminal X name, logo, design, and the brand orchestration logic itself (routing decisions, scoring, UX patterns) are our intellectual property. You may not copy or imitate them in a competing product.

8. AI output disclaimer

AI output can be wrong, biased, or unsuitable for your use case. Terminal X generates text, images, code, audio, and video by composing third-party models. We do not verify the accuracy, safety, or legality of any output.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it — especially for legal, medical, financial, or safety-related decisions. Do not deploy AI-generated code without reading it. Do not publish AI-generated content without reviewing it.

9. Third-party services and connectors

When you connect a third-party service (Vercel, GitHub, Stripe, Gmail, Shopify, etc.) Terminal X acts under the permissions you grant via that service's OAuth flow. You're responsible for understanding what permissions you grant and what Terminal X will do on your behalf.

Third-party services have their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, data handling, or outages. Disconnecting a service from /connections immediately revokes Terminal X's access.

10. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, provider outages (any of the AI providers we route to), or unforeseen events. We are not liable for downtime, but for material outages we may, at our discretion, credit affected accounts.

11. Limitation of liability

The following limits are required to keep Terminal X commercially viable. They are standard SaaS terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terminal X is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

In no event will Terminal X be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Terminal X, its operators, employees, and partners from any claim arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third party's rights — including any content you generate or publish using the Service.

13. Termination

You may stop using Terminal X and delete your account at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or otherwise misuse the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; the provisions of Sections 6 (Your content — to the extent we retain anything), 8 (AI disclaimer), 11 (Liability), 12 (Indemnification), and 14 (Disputes) survive.

14. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by informal discussion will be resolved by binding arbitration in Delaware under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.

You waive any right to participate in a class action against Terminal X.

Have a lawyer adjust this section for your actual jurisdiction before launch.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
